Willow Wheelers has launched 2021 100 Mile Charity Cycle!
We are raising funds to provide much needed emergency relief for our supported projects in developing countries. Your generous donations from the 2020 100 Mile Charity Cycle have been disbursed and have helped alleviate suffering in some of the most vulnerable parts of the world. This year we are still facing the widespread impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, so the charitable causes and the communities who we support need you to go that extra mile to help. Check out messages thanking the Willow Wheelers for your 2020 support HERE.
See how to donate to WW Mission Fund below.
We are asking our members and supporters to organise their own cycle from home, up to 100 miles. The event will run for the month of June.
You can cycle alone or in groups of up to 15 people to the extent it is safe to do so while complying with social distancing requirements and applicable restrictions at the date of your cycle.
Your safety is our highest priority. All cyclists must respect and strictly comply with the public health guidelines and other restrictions in force. It will be very important that each cyclist takes full responsibility for their own safety as this is not possible for the Club and our junior members will need appropriate adult supervision, preferably within the same family where possible.
Due to the impact of Covid 19 pandemic, many of the projects and impoverished communities supported by Willow Wheelers are suffering at a time when traditional funding sources have become inaccessible. We can make a real difference and provide emergency relief to help improve the lives of those who are most profoundly affected during this time of crisis. You can read about some of our previous WW Mission Trips by clicking here.
