Willow Wheelers has launched 2020 Charity Cycle!
We are raising funds to provide much needed emergency relief for our supported projects in developing countries. This year facing the widespread impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, more than ever, our many charitable causes and the communities who we support need you to go that extra mile to help. See how to donate to WW Fund below.
We are asking our members and supporters to organise their own cycle from home, up to 100 miles. The event will run from 8th June to 30th June. See below a few photos from our members enjoying their outings during our 2020 WW Charity Cycles!
You can cycle alone or in groups of up to 15 people to the extent it is safe to do so while complying with social distancing requirements and cycle within a 20km radius (or the applicable restriction at the date of your cycles) of your home or within your home county.
Your safety is our highest priority. All cyclists must respect and strictly comply with the public health guidelines and other restrictions in force. It will be very important that each cyclist takes full responsibility for their own safety as this is not possible for the Club and our junior members will need appropriate adult supervision, preferably within the same family where possible.
Due to the impact of Covid 19 pandemic, many of the projects and impoverished communities supported by Willow Wheelers are suffering at a time when traditional funding sources have become inaccessible. We can make a real difference and provide emergency relief to help improve the lives of those who are most profoundly affected during this time of crisis. You can read about some of our previous WW Mission Trips by clicking here.
All donations, whether you cycle or not, will be gratefully received!

Many cyclists practise Pilates as it is proven to enhance comfort and strength on your bike. One of our longstanding members Rachel Brown is a Pilates instructor who leads online classes each week. Rachel has offered to donate 100% of the €18 price of a week’s pass to our Mission Fund. To get access to a full week of 4 live classes and recordings for the week click on the booking links: w/c 8th June – click here and w/c 15th June – click here. If you have any queries about your suitability to participate you can email Rachel at rachel@rbpt.ie.
We have ordered stylish Willow Wheelers face masks and plan to sell these at €10 each as part of our 2020 fund-raising – check out details HERE.

We are very grateful for all your support. If you have any questions please contact any of the Committee, your WhatsApp group leaders or email contact@willowwheelers.ie.
Enjoy your cycles, have fun and feel free to share photos of your cycles on Willow Wheelers’ Facebook and Twitter.
