Willow Wheelers Cycle to Phoenix Park by Max P6
Hi my name is Max and I am in P6. Last Sunday was my first spin with the Willow Wheelers. We cycled from Willow Park to the Phoenix Park. We left at around 10 o’clock. It took just over one hour to get there. We saw a huge amount of deer in the Park, it was pretty cool.
We had a bite to eat at the boathouse restaurant. I had a sausage roll, a pack of crisps and a hot chocolate. We started to head back. Over the Liffey, past Dolphins Barn, past Kilmainham Gaol, down along the Canal past Donnybrook Stadium and homeward bound.
Overall the cycle was 37 km long. For my first cycle I found it really fun, I’m really looking forward to the trip to Spain at Easter. We were home just in time to watch Ireland beat Hungary to cap off a great day.
🚴♂️Cycling continues to be a wonderful part of life in Willow. It offers so many benefits for the boys. Beyond keeping the boys active, cycling is a highly sociable activity that helps them build confidence, develop new friendships, and enjoy a real sense of belonging within the Willow Wheelers community.🚵♀️
