Proposed WW 2025 Africa Trip Meeting at 8pm on Wed. 22 May

Dear Willow Wheelers,

Each year, the Willow Wheelers arranges a trip to visit some of the charitable causes and projects which we support so that our members can see first hand where the funds raised on the 100 Mile Cycle is spent.  This trip is typically open to adult members, past pupil members and to boys in senior years who have been active members of the Club, normally boys currently in 3^rd and 4^th Years (i.e. they will be in 4^th and 5^th Year in 2025).

We disburse funds raised on our 100 Mile Charity Cycle in arrears and plan to finalise allocation of the remaining funds from our 2023 event in early June, following which we will update you.  The 2023 trip went to Kenya: https://willowwheelers.club/2023/05/31/willow-wheelers-mission-trip-kenya-2023/

Whilst the 2025 destination has not yet been finalised, we have just received some very competitive flight quotes to Africa but we need to respond to the travel agent to secure these flights by 30 May.  In order to gauge interest, we are proposing to hold an initial meeting in Willow Park Cafeteria at 8pm next Wednesday 22 May.  Anyone interested should attend the meeting or contact Christy directly.

Many thanks.

Best regards,

Christy & WW Committee
