WW 2024 Salou, Spain Routes
Welcome to our WW Salou starter set of suggested routes web post and thanks to some of our experienced Club members who have provided them. If any of you have additional suggestion of routes, interesting destinations, restaurants, etc., please let us know so that we can share these with others on the trip to Salou. You can contact a member of the Committee with your suggested routes and files (e.g. .gpx route files for Garmin) or send the routes, etc. by email to willowwheelersclub@gmail.com.
Common sense applies when following these routes and we suggest bear in mind that sunset is shortly after 7pm in Salou during our trip. Cycle on the right-hand side of the road in Spain. Always obey the traffic laws and ensure that our younger cyclists are properly supervised.
As a preliminary taster for Salou cycling, the Salou Tourist Board has suggested a few routes (which can be adapted); click HERE, but .gpx files are not available for these routes. Some further route suggestions in the Salou area provided by members (links to Garmin route and files are in the captions below) are below. Note that some of the start points are near Salou, not quite at the hotel, so you’ll need to figure your way onto the route. Enjoy the adventure! Details as follows:
