Cycleton for Charity in Willow Park on 25 May 2023

A hugely succesful cycleton was held in Willow Park Junior School on Thursday 25th May, 8.00am – 3:30pm to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, DMD (Muscular Dystrophy) and the IRFU Rugby Injury Charity.

Sixth Form boys covered 1,000km – the distance from the school to the Stade Du France and back.

The event was really well attended by the boys (in their WW jerseys), teachers and parents. The event also helped increase awareness of the WW Cycling Club within the school.

Many thanks to Áine O’Donoghue (Willow Park teacher and WW Committee member) and all who helped organise the event, and to everyone who supported the event, provided exercise bikes, cycling gear, donations, etc.
