Willow Wheelers 2022 Easter Trip to Pesaro, Italy
Your booking reference has been sent to your group leader and should have been circulated via WhatsApp. Once you receive the document (which contains all 122 passengers) with check-in details, find your name and the booking reference will be on top of that specific page. For security reasons, we cannot publish check-in details on this website. If you have not received your check-in reference, please contact your group leader or a member of the WW Committee asap.
Outbound on Sat. 9 April EI432 leaves Dublin (Terminal 2) 7:00am and arrives Milan Linate 10:35am. Aer Lingus online check-in starts at 7am on Thursday, 7 April. You need to use a laptop rather than mobile device for online check-in.
Return on Fri. 15 April EI437 leaves Maplensa 9:45pm and arrives Dublin 11:05pm.
For Dublin departure: Dublin Airport is experiencing significant delays at security gates (and Saturday 9 April is expected to be busy), so the travel agent is now recommending you arrive at the airport and join the security queue at least 3½ hours ahead of flight departure. DAA currently advise that passengers should wear a face mask during their full airport journey.
Baggage allowance is 1 small cabin bag (max 25x33x20cm and max 7kg) and 1 checked in bag (max 10kg). Bearing in mind the current delays at security, the travel agent recommends 10kg bags are check-in the previous evening if possible (which Aer Lingus is currently facilitating) as all 10kg bags must be checked-in. If you bring a 10kg bag to the boarding gate without purchasing it as a carry-on bag with priority boarding, or if it’s not included as part of your booking, a €35 fee applies to place this bag in the aircraft hold, assuming space available. We understand that fast-track security clearance has been temporarily suspended at Dublin Airport.
Bus transport will be arranged in Italy to and from hotel and airport.
Bicycles & luggage transport on truck to Pesaro: Bikes were dropped with luggage from 3:30pm on Mon 4 April to Willow Park School. Soft luggage bags preferred as they facilitate safe stacking of bicycles. Time slots for each year-group as follows: 6th form @ 3:30pm; 1st Year @ 3:30pm; 2nd Year @ 4:00pm; 3rd Year @ 4:00pm; 4th Year @ 4:30pm; 5th Year @ 4:30pm and all others @ 5:00pm.
Hotel: Nautilus Hotel, Pesaro: www.hotelnautiluspesaro.com. Address: Viale Trieste, 26, 61121 Pesaro PU. Telephone: +39 072 138 9001. Rooms will be allocated by Club and cannot be altered unless approved by a Club Committee member.

Accompanied Minors: Group leaders should bring relevant documentation (i.e. letters of consent, copies of parent’s identification, etc.) for travelling with minors out of the state. Please see this Government website for current details: www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/travel-with-children.

Bike care: Ensure you have properly serviced bike, spare tubes, helmet, glove, etc. and completed a Bike Details form.
Clothes: We recommend that you err on the side of cycling gear. Towels, togs, etc. required. No deodorant spray permitted.
Italy Covid-19 Requirements: Please ensure that you follow Italian requirements (incl. passenger locator form and relevant Covid pass) and monitor the DFA website. Italian Covid-19 requirements include FFP2 masks or equivalent and a Covid-19 certificate showing proof of vaccination or recovery to access most public amenities, but you should keep this under review as local regulations may change. Entry requirements into Italy can also be checked by completing the survey found here https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/returningtoitaly.html. To gain entry to Italy, passengers must (i) fill in a Passenger Locator Form, which can be found here: https://app.euplf.eu/#/ and (ii) (2) present a Covid-19 Certificate showing proof of vaccination or recovery dated within no more than 270 days OR a Certificate of Recovery dated within no less than 11 days and no more than 180 days OR a negative PCR Test (within 72 hours) or Antigen Test (within 48 hours). Some regular airline passengers find VeriFLY a useful mobile app to consolidate flight and other documentation, but it is not a requirement.
