Portugal Trip Update
Dear Members,
For those of you who are booked on the upcoming Portugal Trip, we are planning an update meeting, provisionally scheduled for 7:30pm on Wednesday, 21st February in the Willow Cafeteria.
As we have previously outlined, the Portugal Trip is open only to paid-up members of the Willow Wheelers who actively participate and contribute to Club activities. For those that haven’t yet renewed their membership for 2018 you can do so here on the Willow Wheelers website.
Members who have not been participating on Sunday cycles will hold back their year-group in Portugal, which previously has led some members to skip days cycling, thereby creating supervision and other problems. This is unfair on your fellow cyclists and adult supervisors.
We will all enjoy our trip to Portugal if we are cycling-fit and ready to get the most out of it!
Our cycling trips to mainland Europe have been enormously successful and places are in huge demand. We have only 6 remaining Sunday cycles before our bikes leave for Portugal. It is essential that all members planning to travel to Portugal make as many of the remaining cycles as possible.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
Regards,
Christy
PS This Sunday’s cycle will be a shorter one in order to allow people to be back for the JCT match against St Michaels in Donnybrook at 15:00
Hello Christy – are we due to pay the balance of the Portugal trip at the meeting this week?
Hi Neil,
Portugal Trip
There will be a meeting of the people travelling to Portugal at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 21st February in the Willow Park School Cafeteria. Final payment will be expected on that night. Final cost to be advised beforehand but looks in the region of €865/€870 per person less the deposit already paid.
